A candidate who withdrew consent
Flagged on your sheet, absent from theirs. Consent is read live at the moment the
tracker is built, not stored as a column that someone remembers to update.
A submission you withdrew
Stays in your history and leaves the client's view entirely.
A role whose share is paused
The role and every candidate under it disappear from the client's copy. Your sheet says
so in the group header rather than silently dropping them.
Candidates presented anonymously
Two candidates in the sample are on the same "anonymous until shortlist" setting. One
has been shortlisted and is named; the other is still Candidate KT, with no
employer, no CV link and no documents. Shortlisting is what reveals them — and only the
client can do it.
An interview round you ran yourself
Your sheet shows 3 rounds; theirs shows
2, renumbered from one. A gap in the numbering would tell
them a round exists that they cannot see.
A document you did not share
Your file has 4 document columns
(Take-home, Screening notes, Portfolio, References); theirs has
3 (Take-home, Portfolio, References). The label
you typed on an unshared link is content too, so it never becomes a column heading in
their workbook — not even above an empty cell.
Your consultants
Who submitted whom is your business. There is no consultant column in the client's copy.
